Curious about 3D printing? Join us for a hands-on introduction where you'll learn the basics of Tinkercad and design your own custom 3D-printed keychain.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to use Tinkercad, a simple web-based 3D design tool, to create your own custom keychain. We will also explore how to use the library’s 3D printing services and where to find inspiration for other projects.
No prior 3D printing experience is required, though basic computer skills are encouraged.
Please note: your custom keychain will be printed after the session and available for pickup 3 to 4 days later.
The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
