This two-part, eight-hour program provides a refresher course for motorists age 55 and older.
Part 1: Monday, September 8, 1-5 p.m.
Part 2: Tuesday, September 9, 1-5 p.m.
An AARP-certified instructor will present a review of driving skills and techniques along with safe driving tips. Participants who complete the class may be eligible for a discount on the liability portion of their car insurance. You must attend both four-hour sessions.
A fee will be collected at the first class. Please bring your driver's license and AARP membership card to receive a discount (AARP members pay $20; non-members $25, cash or check).
The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
