Often considered the thinking person’s rock ‘n’ rollers, Simon & Garfunkel was also one of the most successful musical acts of the 1960s. The music of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and vocalist Art Garfunkel often explored themes of love, alienation, and social issues, with some of their most famous songs including "The Sound of Silence," and "Mrs. Robinson." Their unique blend of folk, rock, and acoustic sounds, paired with their poetic lyrics and voices, helped define an era of music that still resonates today.
