Together with the League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area and the Schaumburg Library, WGN-TV's Paul Lisnek will discuss the election results and what to expect in the coming four years.

About the speaker: Paul Lisnek, J.D., Ph.D. is a multi-Emmy, Cablefax, Telly, Communicator, and Beacon Award winning television host and analyst. Lisnek has been the political analyst for WGN-TV since 2008, appearing on all its No. 1 rated newscasts discussing political and legal issues of the day. He is the host of the weekly "WGN-TV Political Report," on which he interviews leading political figures in the city, state, and country. Lisnek has interviewed presidents, governors, senators, congressmen, local representatives, and mayors numerous times over the last 38 years. Lisnek can also be heard on wgnradio.com, where he hosts a podcast called “Paul Lisnek Behind the Curtain,” which addresses political, theatre and arts, and other areas of interest to Chicagoland. He is also a fill-in host on WGN Radio.

The League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area and the Schaumburg Library are hosts of the Civic Events Awareness Series, a program dedicated to the continued civic education and engagement of the public.

This program will be presented using Zoom. Participants must register and provide a working email address to receive the login information.

The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
