Learn how to create objects using digital-design computer software and a 3D printer.
For children entering grades 3-5.
We'll teach you the software and how to submit designs to the library to print. Then, you'll work on a new design while the 3D printer works. This program requires attendees to have basic computer skills.
If your child is age 9 or younger, please plan to remain at the library for the duration of the program. Caregivers of older children are always encouraged to stay in the library as well.
To register, please call the Youth desk at 847-590-3320. If you leave a voicemail, include the child's name and grade, your phone number, and your email address. We will add them to the registration or wait list and contact you to confirm.
The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
