Drop in for hands-on, kid-friendly activities that help make the world a better place. Perfect whether you're here for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service or just looking for some winter fun!
Best for ages 11 and younger with their families.
Stop at one station or explore them all.
Station 1. Winter warm-up!
Make and decorate a reusable handwarmer to give to a friend or family member who needs a little comfort from the cold.
Station 2. It feels good to give!
Here in Mount Prospect, we want everyone to have enough food on their shelves! At this station, bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Village of Mount Prospect Food Pantry, or select one from our provided assortment to add to the donation.
Station 3. Imagine and dream!
What are your hopes and dreams for making the world a better place? Use your ideas to decorate your own miniature felt flag that you can raise and lower with a fixed pulley.
No registration required. This is an open house format program. Drop in anytime and stay as long as you like. Last entry is 15 minutes before the program end time. Please note there may be small pieces and adult guidance is encouraged. Supplies are available while they last.
