Everyone has the right to live where they choose, free from discrimination. This presentation will offer a deep dive into the Disability protected class under federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
Open Communities, a fair housing agency, works throughout northern Cook County to promote inclusive communities. They do this by educating, investigating, and advocating to eradicate housing discrimination. They provide a variety of services related to fair housing and housing counseling. Come learn more about how they help residents with resources and support.

The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
