Growing readers will enjoy fun, hands-on activities related a graphic novel. Graphic novels help build beginning readers? confidence by motivating them to try more books.

Best for ages 5-8.

This session will feature the delectable series Hunger Heroes by Jarrett Lerner. We'll share stories and enjoy fun hands-on activities all about the superhero foods that could be in your kitchen.

Please register each child individually. Please remain near the Youth program room during the program in case your child needs assistance. This event is allergy-friendly; no food will be served.

The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
