Join other chess fans for a mini lesson and guided instruction to sharpen your skills, or just stop by for a match!
Best for ages 7-14; children ages 8 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Enjoy a short lesson and practice session for beginner players led by a Chess Scholars coach from 2-2:30 p.m. Or skip the lesson and arrive at 2:30 p.m. to be matched with another player for a game. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome.
No registration necessary.

The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
