Best for ages 11 and younger with their families.

Participants will receive a DIY take-home kit with a book and activities.

No registration necessary. This is an open house format program. Drop in anytime and stay as long as you like. Last entry is 15 minutes before the end time. While supplies last.

In case of rain, temperatures above 85 degrees, or other inclement weather, this program will be moved indoors. Please check this listing for updates. 

Pocket Park, also known as Edwin and Elsie Meyn Busse Park, is located across from Village Hall at 21 S. Emerson Street.

About the Location

The Main Library is located in downtown Mount Prospect, next to Village Hall. The building houses an extensive collection of materials, spaces for quiet and collaborative work, several program rooms, public computers, a dedicated teen space, and engaging play area for children.
