Once a writer has finished and edited their book to perfection, it's important to have a strong query letter to help pitch their masterpiece to agents and publishers.

From sourcing the best agents and publishers for your genre, to shaping your logline, writing a killer synopsis, and picking comp titles, attendees will walk away with the tools needed to successfully pitch and publish their manuscript.

Audrey Wilson is the award-winning, traditionally published author of Wrong Girl Gone, Only Human, and Landing Like Rain. Wilson will explain how the querying process can be just as crucial as writing the book itself.

Having earned her BA in television writing and producing from Columbia College Chicago, Wilson has written over two dozen screenplays and television episodes and has won a variety of awards for her writing, including a regional Emmy nomination. As a screenwriter, she is represented by Entertainment 3:33. Wilson has also spoken professionally at numerous writing events, including the Independent Writers of Chicago, the Southwest Michigan Writers’ Conference, the Let's Just Write! Chicago Writers Association Conference, and the International Dublin Writers Conference.
